Portrait

Have you heard of Pablo Picasso.

Today Tewaka Ako has been doing portraits. we watched a video to know how to draw the portraits. If you make mistakes it was ok because it was an abstract portrait. We had to follow the steps to do a portrait. All the portraits were different some were small some were big . Some were wild and skinny. On our portraits we had to drew patterns . People did different kind of eyes. We put bodies on and then we coloured our portrait and then we did the background. We showed our portrait at our assembly.

My favourite part was drawing the eyes because I love drawing.

tsunami

 When the tsunami warning was on I was at my nana's house,  downstairs playing . Then I heard the tsunami warning on my Nana's phone.  But I thought it was the covid 19 announcement because I was at my Nana's house during lockdown. So I watched the tv, and pout Channel one on. 

Now when I am at school I have been writing about tsunami warning so this is what you will need in a tsunami warning get Batteries + torches, medicine, first aid kit,food that is not thing that can rot like apples ,  water, fly spray, all packed in a bag,toilet paper,umbrella, a phone with charger and an radio so that is what you will need in a tsunami warning.

lockdown 4

 When lockdown started I felt good because I could do what ever I wanted. 

I've been at my Nana's house since Sunday or Saturday because my Mum was in hospital was having my baby sister and her name is Isla. My favourite time when I was at my nana's house was playing lego with my uncle and my aunty and we built a 2 story house. I built a shed with pillars and it looked like it was a 1 storey house but it was actually a 2 storey house because the upstairs was for the things we don't need. My favourite family activity was going see my baby sister in person for the first time. I I wanted to carry her straight away, she was very small. I didn't want to go to school because I like being with my little sister.

Hi bloggers at Waikowhai primary school's hall we were playing with Lego we had station the first station was the landscape then the next station was planets i made a sun then the landscape i built with my friend Lewis. Lewis thought of doing and a guy fighting a good guy on top of a hut with crocodiles going around the land + I thought of the abandoned Island and it was so cool.

We have bean learning this is my work.  First I worked with the wave because  the blue makes me think of when I went to the wave pool and the watermelon make me feel hungry and you can see what I rote on the work that I did.  I did the pyramid because it is hot there and it remind me when I was so so hot. Mangere Mountain

                                    (On the 1st of August) 

 Hi bloggers  I went to mangere mountain with my dad. We went up the dirt step and I went up and down 3 times then i went to the other side there was a wood cheer. I had to tie my shoelace. Then we went up the hill. Then we went down and played on the playground and skatepark. Then we went down the grassy part and it was fun playing on the grassy hill while we go down.

My favourite thing to do for school is Epic!  
I like this website because on Epic! you can read lots of different books. This is good because we can't go to the library during lock down.
